Last night was my hen night, bachelorette party, whatchuwannacallit going away party… It was really nice seeing everyone before leaving for a long time. We had dinner at Clair De Lune on Clarence St. and I had quite nice lamb, though I’m not sure everyone else had meals they really enjoyed… But the company was lovely and we talked for a while at the table.
Then some of us headed over to Bar 56, and Amy and I had nice Cosmopolitans (while discussing which Sex & The City girl we were). As most people had gone home, Michelle, Aaron and I attempted to find a pub that wasn’t packed tight… It wasn’t happening so we came back for a little drinky here and chatted till late. I’ve got such awesome friends 🙂
What was particularly nice was the little book Paola gave me, containing a little word from everyone… I read it once I got home, it makes me so sad to think I’m leaving all those lovely friends behind. I’m confident I’ll see a good few of them somewhere around the world sooner than later 🙂 I also got an Indian cookbook from Ben and Andrianne — looking at it today, I was drooooooling! If I manage to find all the right herbs n spices, I’ll most definitely be cooking that at home! It’s got all the best recipes!
On another note, hey, the Sens are going to game 7! My building rumbled when the Sens scored the first time, but when Fisher scored in overtime, it really rumbled loud! If they win game 7, I’ll take cover, in case the building collapses!!
Alright, this entry contained way too many exclamation marks considering how unenergetic and tired I am at the moment… My bed’s looking terribly inviting right now…
*looks at bed*
*looks at essay papers*
*looks at bed again, jumps on bed and falls right asleep*
Tough luck, I’ll work on the essay later…
