Why do blogs full of bitching and complaining seem more compelling than positive this-is-my-life stories? Maybe I like reading the ups and downs of others because my life’s generally going so well at the moment! It’s like seeing snippets of someone’s anger come out, and as long as I’m not on the receiving end of their wrath, it’s kind of amusing to read.

I criticize reality TV for its voyeurism but I’m fascinated by blogs. Even strangers’ stories grab my curiosity and I can’t help but check what’s going on with their lives the following week!

On a different note, winter’s coming. It’s been terribly windy for the past week and even long sleeves don’t seem to cut it anymore. Time to get the warm and fluffy winter tops, or in my case, go shopping for some more! My minimal collection of clothing won’t quite get me through the winter! Soon enough, the paychecks will come in and I’ll be able to treat myself to a shopping trip to NEXT, my favourite store. MmMMmmm nice warm clothes…
