My birthday gift from Andrew was the Sims 2 game, a brand new remake on the original, with a lot more 3-D interesting graphics, a lot more life goals and excitement. Such amazingly cool touches have been added. For example, the Sims can play SSX3 on their console or computer. You can even watch them play The Sims 2 on their computer!

I wouldn’t dare say they’re becoming “intelligent”, they are still hopelessly stupid, forgetting to go to the toilet if you don’t tell them, passing out anywhere and everywhere if you don’t send them to bed on time, and generally being a real pain. Game’s still fun though!

While looking around to see if anyone has come across unexpected events in their Sims 2 games, I found Lynda’s Sims 2 blog, where she’s putting her Sims in a “Big Brother”-like situation. Talk about playing God! 😉

I’m looking forward to more mad items being created by Sims 2 fans; so far there’s only really the Alienware computer, a machine only vaguely more exciting than the Sims’ regular computer.

Hey, don’t tell me I’m wasting my time playing God, we all need some unproductive entertainment once in a while…
