Yes yes, I’m still alive! *waves*

Over the past year or two, I’ve been painting and drawing more than ever. I’ve been documenting this work regularly on Instagram.

Howeeeeever, I’m not entirely comfortable with letting social networks hold all of this beautiful creative history. So I’ve started dusting off the cobwebs from my trusty ol’ blog, with the intention of posting finished pieces here in the Art Portfolio category. (Apologies in advance to anyone signed up via RSS, there are a few more posts to come!)

I likely won’t add every single work-in-progress – or maybe I will – but I’ll build up a portfolio of finished pieces for easy reference. And because maybe someday, someone will want to buy one!

Some paintings are meaningful, dark or deep, but others are straight up goofy like these lovely little guys above.

Sometimes I put paintings on the wall, and other times, I put them in tiny little envelopes and leave them in bus stations, red phone box village libraries or anywhere else they might be found by a stranger.

I don’t know how often I’ll post; I hope this becomes second nature again, but who knows.

In any case, if you pass by, do say hi. It’s been a while.

Promise I’ll bring tea and biscuits next time. 💖
