Funny how a new pair of pink velcro shoes can put me in a really good mood and make me skip around the office!
The reason I’m so happy about my new trainers is pretty simple, it’s the beginning of a new habit — Going to the gym everyday after work. I won’t do long gym sessions, just a half hour everyday (or longer if I’ve got to make up for a day when I haven’t been able to go), which is just enough to give me a new rush of energy! After a long day in the office, a bit of bootay-shaking can only do me good and wake me up. I’m hoping it’ll add that little bit of pep in my step that I feel I’m lacking since I left Uni (where I was walking everyday everywhere).
We’re also replacing our bed soon, which should make a difference in how well we sleep… a BIG difference. We’ve got the worst mattress in the world and it tends to result in the worst nights of sleep in the world too. I’m sooo looking forward to a smooth mattress top and no springs sticking in my hipbone when I try and get to sleep!
