A word of advice

I know a reasonable number of OS X users are reading this, so a word of advice to all.

While we’re relatively safe from viruses, trojans and the likes, all sorts of attempts at infecting Macs are starting to appear in the landscape. I’d like to believe that the average Mac user is switched on enough to spot odd files being offered, and to not require Norton and MacAfee’s “nannying”. All it means is that you should be careful, think about whether you’re expecting to receive the file in question before opening it.

Bill is right, don’t be too smug. And “Of course, Apple Mac OS X users need to be careful running unknown or unsolicited code on their computers. Duh.”, says MacDaily.
