Because I'm a total foodie!
I decide to start myself another blog dedicated to food and drinks! This way, I won’t be drowning this blog in food comments, though I’m sure I’ll cross-post between both blogs when I find something irresistible!
It’s like one big recipe box for those nights where choosing what to cook feels like a chore.
It’s also my WordPress 1.5 sandbox, so the look and feel of it will probably change regularly and possibly look all messed up sometimes.

Iranian Blogger Jailed
Following my post on the two Iranian bloggers who were arrested for expressing their views, the BBC says Arash has been jailed for 14 years while Mojtaba is still being held.

Free Mojtaba and Arash Day
I only just found out that today is meant to be some sort of no-blogging day.
“[The Committee to Protect Bloggers] is calling on the blogsphere – the name for the worldwide community of bloggers – to do what it can to help raise awareness of the plight of Mojtaba and Arash as well as other “cyber-dissidents”.
“Blogging is in this weird no man’s land. People think of it as being one thing or another depending on their point of view,” said Mr Hopkins. Some think of themselves as pundits, kind of like journalists, and some like me have a private blog which is just a publishing platform. But they do not have a constituency and are out there in the cold.”
A spokesman for Amnesty International said: “Just as the internet is a tool for freedom, so it is being used as an excuse for repression. “Amnesty International has recorded a growing number of cases of people detained or imprisoned for disseminating their beliefs or information through the internet, in countries such as China, Syria, Vietnam, the Maldives, Cuba, Iran and Zimbabwe.
“It is also shocking to realise that in the communications age just expressing support for an internet activist is enough to land people in jail.”

It’s madness. Google takes my blog seriously, it seems!
When searching for IKEA Stampede, something I mentioned a week ago, Google puts me in 4th position on the first page! This means I’m higher than BBC, CNN and Fox on the topic!
Ok, my episode of utter dorkiness is over now.

I can't believe it…
I got pooheaded on my own blog last night it seems. *hangs head in shame*
At the end of my Trillium post, there was an added “PS – I am a poopoohead” that was definitely not part of the original post!
For those who aren’t familiar with the concept, here is a definition:
Pooheading: the act of posting a comment of childish nature after accessing the online account of a friend, whether it be in a chatroom, on a message board… or on a blog.Neil, you’re going to pay for this! 😛

Google Ads
Yep, I’m a sellout, I’ve added Google Ads to my site. *hangs head in shame* I’m not expecting to make millions, I’m doing it more out of curiosity to see what kind of results I’ll get out of it.
So… go on, give it a click every once in a while! But don’t overdo it, the Google system can detect when people click repeatedly and accounts get suspended!
*snuggles up on the sofa* mmMMmmm lazy Sundays are great!
