Tsunami Appeal Part II
Through Shiny Shiny, I found out a few other ways to help the people affected by the tsunami in South Asia.
- First, you can donate your old mobile phones and ink cartridges. The company that recycles them will donate money to the Tsunami Fund in exchange for old gadgets you don’t use anymore, so why not? Get your office involved and order a freepost bag to send them in!
- Also, you can bid on some interesting items like Nell McAndrew’s wedding dress or a guitar signed by Slash from Guns n’ Roses. The money raised by this eBay & The Sun newspaper collaboration will go directly to the Fund. Granted, this takes a bit more cash, so you won’t find me bidding…

New York Changing
A photographic gem I found on A Journey Through Time, New York Changing is a re-photographing project where shots of the city are taken some 60 years after the original photo.
Some streets are so similar to how they were in the late 1930’s, it’s unreal! Others, as expected, have changed a lot and appear to be much more commercial.
